AI Disclosures & Responsible Use
How NamEngine uses AI, what recommendations can and cannot promise, and how to use the service responsibly.
Effective Date: July 20, 2026
At NamEngine, we believe that choosing the right name is one of life’s most meaningful decisions. Our goal is to help you discover names that feel authentic, memorable, and deeply personal. While artificial intelligence plays an important role in that process, it is only one part of the NamEngine experience.
This page explains how our AI-powered recommendations work, their limitations, and your responsibilities when using our Services.
How NamEngine Uses AI
NamEngine combines artificial intelligence with proprietary recommendation methods to generate personalized naming suggestions.
Our recommendations are influenced by information you choose to provide, including your preferences, reactions, and naming goals. As you interact with the platform, your feedback helps guide future recommendations toward names that better reflect your individual taste.
AI is intended to assist your decision-making—not replace it.
Recommendations Are Suggestions
All names, explanations, scores, and insights generated by NamEngine are recommendations only.
They should not be interpreted as professional legal, trademark, branding, linguistic, cultural, genealogical, or business advice.
The final decision regarding any name always belongs to you.
Similar Recommendations
Artificial intelligence systems may occasionally generate similar recommendations for different users.
Accordingly:
- another user may receive the same or a similar name;
- recommendations are not guaranteed to be exclusive;
- NamEngine does not reserve names for individual users.
No Guarantee of Availability
NamEngine does not guarantee that any suggested name is:
- unique;
- legally available;
- eligible for trademark protection;
- available as a business name;
- available as a domain name;
- available on social media platforms;
- approved by governmental authorities; or
- free from third-party rights.
Before adopting any name, you should independently verify its availability and suitability for your intended use.
AI Is Not Perfect
Although we continually improve our recommendation engine, artificial intelligence has limitations.
Recommendations may occasionally:
- contain inaccuracies;
- overlook cultural or regional considerations;
- misunderstand user preferences;
- produce unexpected or imperfect results;
- evolve as our models and recommendation systems improve.
For these reasons, users should always exercise their own judgment when evaluating recommendations.
Your Feedback Improves Recommendations
NamEngine is designed to learn from your interactions within a session.
When you react to names or adjust your preferences, the system uses that information to refine subsequent recommendations. This helps create a more personalized naming experience.
Your feedback improves recommendations for your session, but it does not guarantee any particular outcome.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any name suggested through the Services.
Before using a name, you should consider factors such as:
- personal preference;
- family considerations;
- cultural significance;
- pronunciation;
- legal requirements;
- trademark availability;
- business registration requirements;
- domain availability;
- social media availability; and
- any other factors relevant to your intended use.
Continuous Improvement
NamEngine is continuously improving its AI models, recommendation systems, and user experience.
As a result:
- recommendations may change over time;
- the same inputs may produce different results in the future;
- new features may influence how recommendations are generated.
These improvements are intended to enhance the quality and personalization of the Services.
